Spotlight Musical Theatre Presenting Seussian Musical With A Message

In the mood for a musical that’s whimsical and fun? Spotlight Musical Theatre has just the one.

The group will perform “Seussical Jr.” on Saturday, Jan. 13 and Sunday, Jan. 14 at the Carroll Arts Center in Westminster.

“It’s just 100 percent fun,” said Karen Hilderbrand, Spotlight Musical Theatre’s owner and executive producer. “It’s a very high energy show and there’s non-stop music and dancing.”

The Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.
